摘要： 虽然乡村在地理位置、产业特征及人口构成等方面与城市不同, 但是乡村社区如何与城市社区同样发挥对居民的经济支持、服务供应及归属感塑造等功能, 是许多国家在城乡社区建设中考虑的重要问题。面对乡村社区的衰落, 加拿大发起新乡村建设运动以振兴乡村, 从而达到城乡社区在功能上的衔接。加拿大新乡村建设运动生发的经验, 为我国新农村建设中通过增强乡村生产能力、提高农民生活水平、改善乡村生活环境、提升农民政治参与能力等方面实现城乡衔接, 提供了重要的借鉴。
