摘要: 惠特曼的城市书写体现了其独特的城市生态诗学思想,蕴含着以“道”为核心的中国古典道家思想。惠特曼认为,城市中的人们应当遵从客观规律,道法自然,建立人类与自然、个体与他人之间的和谐关系,达到“人乐”和“天乐”的境界。在他的城市想象中,人类是整个生态系统中相连相通的普通一环。作为天地万物的一部分,人与万物皆为一体。惠特曼从事物本质出发,展现出人化了的自然与自然化了的人,在探寻人与自我之间生态关系的过程中,建构出物我合一的生态自我。
