摘要： 在现有的香港史研究中, 近代香港医疗卫生史研究是一个相对比较新的领域。而且, 综观现有的研究成果, 其中大部分都是一些编年史叙述和纪念性文字, 又或者是一些个人传记, 可见未来该领域的研究仍有相当广阔的空间。而目前正受学术界积极关注的中西医关系、医疗慈善(MedicalCharity)、医疗传教(MedicalMission)以及殖民医学(ColonialMedicine)等热点议题或许可以成为推动近代香港医疗卫生史研究进一步发展的有益视角。
