摘要： 城市生态学这一城市社会研究范式, 指引了城市社会学发展方向长达半个多世纪之久, 直到当代对城市的生态学分析仍是城市社会学的主流, 并被其它城市研究方法所借鉴。城市生态学家从生态学视角对城市发展进行研究, 形成了城市发展的过程研究模式、空间研究模式和功能研究模式。城市生态学作为西方城市社会学的开创理论和城市研究的主流流派, 其研究视角和理论论述经过了近一个世纪的验证和发展, 其中的很多内容对我国城市研究具有较高的借鉴意义。
